Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am about to complete the ascent of Mount Snowdon 7 times over a period of 7 days. Each day will be a different ascent. Some are easier than others, one or two are tricky to say the least. I will announce each climb and post a report either video or written.

Why am I doing this? In support of The Roll Out the Barrel Trust who give Rotary Barrels to children, as young as 4, who carry their own weight in water, sometimes over several miles every single day in filthy dirty containers and jerry cans. My climb to the summit is a doddle compared to that.

This climb is also a training exercise for myself and my friend Gavin before we attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in early March 2014.

Support us please or better still come with us to Kilimanjaro. Details of that climb will be available straight after the Snowdon assault.

Cheers...and yes I will be careful, thanks for your concern.

About the charity

NO woman or child (as young as 4) should be forced to walk up to 5 miles daily to collect enough clean water just to survive. Help us provide millions of ROTARY ROLLER BARRELS and water filters for clean drinking water, instead of carrying jerry cans or buckets. CLEAN SAFE WATER IS THEIR RIGHT!
