Venture Scotland runs a unique progressive outdoor-based personal development programme over 5 months for young people aged 16-30, who face complex and difficult problems daily. We build their confidence and skills to empower each of them to reduce harmful behaviours and make positive choices.

Story

Hey There,

It has been my ambition for some time to walk the West Highland Way and at last during the Easter holidays I am going to fulfil that ambition.

I have overcome some personal challenges in my life and with the help of a couple of great organisations like Venture Scotland, they have shown me that there is more to life.

In my own words I they are a charity that believes in second chances. They take people all all walks of life and allow them take part as a team in their personal development course, which consists of challenging the indiduals to step outside of their comfort zones and really embrace their potential.

I completed this course last year and received many certificates including my Duke of Edinburgh award. It gave me a massive feeling of achievent to complete this course and it has given em more belief that I can succeed in life.

It cost me nothing to do this course, and now I just want to offer something back to this charity that has offered me so much, so please please sponsor me. Thanks.
