Gran Fondo Giro 'Italia Northern Ireland · 4 June 2017

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Why you ask; why would you ride a Gran Fondo on a City Hire bike?

Life is about challenges and riding 176km and climbing 2500m is a small challenge in comparison to the challenge facing those affected by cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support provides crucial support at a time when people really need it the most. We have needed it and hugely appreciated that support when it was offered; offered with love and care and thoughtfulness. So I am doing this quirky little challenge and hope to raise money for Macmillan, to support families like ours, people like my Dad and Tricia's Mum and everyone affected by cancer.
