Story
We are three friends who have been cycling together for many
years.
This year we have decided to cycle from Holyhead to Newport,
a trip we have been planning to do for the last 10 years!
This cycle trip will take us seven days, if all goes well.
We have decided to try and raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Care .
Babs and myself (Gaynor) had a breast cancer diagnosis twelve years ago and went through treatment at the same time. For Babs it was her second diagnosis. Linda supported us both .
I was given invaluable help from Breast Cancer Care Cymru and have
been a volunteer for the past ten years. I know first hand what a difference this charity can make to women living with a breast cancer diagnosis.
We are cycling this route to celebrate twelve active years since our diagnosis .
This is our Itinerary

Breast cancer changes everything, and every 10 minutes someone in the UK is told they have it. Breast Cancer Care understands the emotions, challenges and decisions people face every day. They know that everyone's experience is different. 691,000 people in the UK are currently living with a breast cancer diagnosis and right now, Breast Cancer Care can't reach everyone when the need them. But with support, they can be there for more people with care, support and information from day one.
