Story
I'm the first to admit I suffer from anxiety and at times depression. Running and being outside helps battle this often stifling condition. I hope to raise awareness of mental health and its affect on so many people who often afraid to talk about their problems. With the 100 miles each month, many will be running with Harmony in the running buggy so she too will be championing this debilitating disease. Each month I intend to enter an event, with the Manchester Marathon in April a high possibility.
Throughout the year I would also like to improve on my times for the 5km, 10km and half marathon events and am aiming for club "Silver times". I'll write more about this as the months go on. I would also like to run a marathon (hopefully Manchester) and aim for a time with the 5 mile and 10 mile distances too.
I would ideally like to raise at least a pound for every mile run so please dig deeply through the year to help achieve this goal and help thousands of young adults and adults suffering from mental illness.
