Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
I was unfortunately diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma in early 2022 after suffering for nearly 2 years. I underwent surgery to remove the Sarcoma in May 2022. Sadly in October 2023 I received another diagnosis of cancer. I am now fighting metastatic Leiomyosarcoma. In November 2023 I completed 6 months of intensive chemotherapy to help prolong my life and to help with the pain. Unfortunately the chemotherapy did not work as well as we hoped. My latest scan showed that the tumours have grown and have become more active. I am now receiving radiotherapy treatment to help with my pain. We are hoping that there may be a targeted chemotherapy out there for me.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and is one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. We have so far held two charity events to raise money for Sarcoma UK. Your donations will help researchers find answers, keep the Sarcoma UK Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.Thank you for your support. ❤️
