Story
Throughout may, Josie and Gemma are taking part in 200k (125 miles) to raise money and awareness for Brain Tumour Research. We are going to be doing a mixture of jogging, walking and a few surprises to challange ourselves to complete all 125 miles. As many of you know, our brother Thomas was diagnosed with grade 4 astrocytoma in 2023 aged 21.
He initially had debulking surgery followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. After stability for a few months, recurrence occurred in December 2024 and he is now on second line chemotherapy.
We want to help make a difference and find a cure for this devastating disease.
Join our challenge and complete 200k your way this May to help find a cure for brain tumours. Walk, jog, run, cycle, swim or mix it up and do a combination of activities – it’s up to you how you complete your 200k. Take part wherever you are and get involved on your own or team up with your family or friends – it’s your challenge, your way. Have fun, get fit and raise vital funds and awareness to help fund the fight against this devastating disease. Are you up for the challenge?
