OPERATING IN THE NORTH EAST, THE CRUELTY HOTSPOT OF ENGLAND SINCE 1896. THE CHARITY CARES FOR THOUSANDS OF LOST, UNWANTED, ABANDONED, ABUSED & NEGLECTED ANIMALS EVERY YEAR. WHEN IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REUNITE ANIMALS WITH THEIR OWNERS, OR THEY ARE UNWANTED THE CHARITY FINDS LOVING NEW HOMES.

Story

Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter was established in 1896 and helps thousands of lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year. Their objective is the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals. Something that as a Dog owner myself, I am incredibly passionate about.

Having volunteered here last year I seen first hand the dedication of the staff to helping the animals, however I also noticed how desperate they are for help and funding. We will be climbing 19,340 feet over 6 days. The highest freestanding mountain in the world. A feat not for the fainthearted. Please help us on our mission and support the animals most in need of some love and a happy home.

Please help them to reunite lost animals with their owners and find loving new homes for those no longer wanted.
