We might not be the most athletic, energetic or slimmest people in the world but despite that we decided to participate in the Walk for Wards event along the canals of London, on the 17th of July 2016. 

As you all know, we are both very passionate research scientists of Imperial College, both working in haematology and cancer research for many years now. This year we have decided to 'go the extra mile' (actually 5 miles) and support The Blood Fund, a new Imperial College Healthcare charity, in order to raise funds for research and new treatments of leukaemia and other blood disorders. We are participating as a team-couple and we will both be thrilled to receive our friends donations for this great cause. So please help us raise as many funds as possible!
