George's Double Crossing of the Lyke Wake Walk

Double Crossing of the Lyke Wake Walk · 8 February 2016
Beginning Tuesday 26th July 2016, I will complete a double crossing of the Lyke Wake Walk - 42 miles each way across the North Yorkshire Moors. I will be accompanied by a group of people from school and supported by a team who will meet us at various checkpoints to make sure we are all fed, watered and can keep going. We've previously successfully completed several single crossings, and no matter what the season, it's always gruelling. At Norbridge, 2015-16 is our Year of Endeavour, so it's a great opportunity for us to complete a personal challenge, in the form of our ever double crossing - something very few walkers even attempt. I have spent the past few months training, walking or running a fair few miles most days, and am usually accompanied by my Jack Russell Ruby.
Any support you are able to give would be hugely appreciated. This is a great charity that means a lot to us all, as well as our friends, family and wider school community.
