Hello everyone,
I am raising money for Water Aid as part of my Bar Mitzvah year this year in which I intend to do as much as I can to save the lives of people who are far less fortunate than me and have to constantly be thinking about survival in the dire conditions in which they are forced to live. I have realised that giving to charity is a very important thing to do, especially at this important time of my life. I think that it is amazing how for the amount of money we would spend on a taxi, cinema outing, pizza or any other 'ordinary' things that we take for granted, we could be saving hundreds of lives. If you take a moment to think about it, the decision shouldn't be that hard. We take water for granted, whilst others don't have any of it. If we give up our next pizza then we can give safe access to water for a person's life and give them a substantial base with which to work. If we give money to Water Aid, then even if we do nothing else good in our life, we know we have given life to many other people and have done a good job in this world. Please give as generously as possible to make Water Aid's brilliant and cost effective projects able to happen and save the lives of hundreds of the poorest people in the world.
With this in mind, please dig deep and give generously!
Thank you so much,
George Rosenfeld
PS. I'm told JustGiving is one of the most efficient ways of ensure the charity get the maximum benefit of your donations as Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by UK taxpayers.
