Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm going to be running a half marathon in May, in support of Epilepsy Research UK, in the hope of helping them to continue to make progress in understanding the causes of epilepsy and how to control it. I will be running it in memory of someone special, and hope that any donations will aid future breakthroughs and further the knowledge of epilepsy here in the UK and worldwide. Tom passed away last July from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), something considered to be fairly rare amongst epilepsy sufferers. Tom was a caring and inspirational young man who never gave up, and his death was completely unexpected and a dreadful time for all that knew him. If I can make a small difference to the life of somebody with epilepsy, or help a family that are going through the same thing, it would mean the world.
