Im fundraising for the Stroke Association!

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2021 · 10 October 2021 ·
If you know me you know that I have never been a runner! This year I have set myself the challenge to learn to love running and run my first half marathon! 🏃🏽♀️
In late 2012 I had the heartbreak of seeing my Grandma suffer a stroke and ultimately lose her battle. She was my best friend and the heart of the family and we all still miss her everyday. It’s heartbreaking to watch someone you love lose their ability to do basic tasks like moving or speaking, especially when they were so fit and healthy before. I am running this half marathon to raise vital funds for research and to ensure there is as much support as possible for survivors.
Thank you for your support, I am so grateful for any donations big or small 💜💜
I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for #TeamStroke! There are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments. Help me raise as much as possible to help rebuild lives after stroke - thank you!
