In 2023 I'll be riding in the Duchenne Dash again - Duchenne UK's signature fundraising event -, which is 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours.

All money raised from the Duchenne Dash funds vital research and accelerates the development of treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a devastating muscle-wasting disease affecting my nephew, Vince. 

Vini was diagnosed over 4 years ago, when he was only 5 years old. 

Since then he has undergone endless tests and is on daily medication including steroids, for the rest of his life. 

He is doing well, but this muscle wasting condition at this point is incurable - although significant research is taking place, and Vini is about to start his first ever Clinical Trial. 

The answer to our pain is some way away yet, which is why I am asking you to help me and this incredible charity (Duchenne UK) that raises between £0.5 - 1 million each year with this cycle ride. The funds go directly towards the much needed drug research. 

Please help me end Duchenne so that Vini and all other children living with DMD have hope, and instead of Clinical Trials they are given a cure in the near future.
