Those that know me will appreciate that I am stepping way out of my comfort zone by agreeing to be part of Milton Keynes equivalent to Strictly Come Dancing. I am doing so to support a great local charity specialising in care for people living with cancer and life limiting illnesses.

I have not danced since my university days and then extremely badly. I have 2 left feet, no sense of rhythm, no flexibility and I am not built to dance. I face an unprecedented challenge in learning the Cha Cha and Foxtrot with a professional dancer, made more difficult as I'm still recovering from rupturing my Achilles' tendon and tearing my calf muscle in May. But its a challenge that I will work extremely hard to meet.

Please sponsor me knowing that I run the risk of making a complete fool of myself, but in doing so will be giving it my all for a worthy cause. 

The event takes place on Saturday 26th November at the Arena, Stadium MK. It will be a night to remember so please come along to watch me and 11 other contestants with our professional partners battle it out for the glitter ball trophy. There will be a gala dinner, champagne and a 3 course meal as well as a feast of dancing.
