We provide support and information to help empower people with WM to live well

Story

A few years ago Hugo's mother was diagnosed with Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia (WM) - a rare type of slow growing non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Hence we have decided to do this challenge in the name of WMUK: the UK Point of Contact for patients, carers, doctors and nurses involved in the treatment of Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia (WM) in the UK as well as the Mongol Rally's official charity Cool Earth which works to halt rainforest destruction.

The Mongol Rally covers over 14,500 km (over a 1/3 of the earth's circumference) of Eurasian road, desert, mountain and step
pe. Setting off from Goodwood, England, the rally has no route, nor rules (barring the fact that the car you take must be under 1.2 litres).

There are no support crews nor halfway pit stops. Once we set off, we are on our own - be under no illusion this is not simply a holiday. The Mongol Rally is a huge test of physical and mental endurance.

The aim is to end up in Ulan Ude, Russia, having crossed Mongolia in one piece.
