On January 3rd, our friend and fellow Googler Vicki Woodall  received the devastating news that George, her four-year old son, had been diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer

To show our support for George and other brave children like him, we at Google are hosting and participating in a number of events including a TGIF, bake off and triathlon and much more.

Hopefully we can help boost the fundraising efforts for the George and the Giant Pledge, that  Vicky and James Woodall set up to aid the untiring work and research of the Children’s team at the Royal Marsden and their mission to defeat children’s cancer and help heroic kids like George
