A couple of years ago, a very close friend of mine shared a terrible news; Her dad was diagnosed with cancer. And my friend has strongly supported her dad during this battle, flying back and forth between Canada and France, just so she can hold his hand and show him all the support and energy he needed in this difficult time. She has been a rock for her entire family and did everything possible to make this journey less painful for a dear father, but unfortunately God has decided otherwise.

During that time, I did not appreciate how hard this journey was for her and I should have supported my friend much more than I did. In truth, I couldn't find the right words or actions to help her and her family through this tough period of their life and I should have known better. I have reflected on my actions and I truly want to become a much more supportive friend to all the people close to my heart that are struggling with going through such long disease. And more generally, I would like to make a contribution as small as it can be by running the Hyrox London on May 1st 2023 for MacMillan. I will give everything I can to hit a personal best record and I will train as hard as I can to reach this goal, keeping in my thoughts and prayers all the people that are living and fighting cancer everyday. You can support me raising as much as money as possible to all those people fighting hard today against Cancer!
