Event: St David's Foundation Hospice Care - Transport Bridge Abseil, on 26 March 2011
We aim to provide patients with a choice to receive care where it suits them best

Story

The Newport Transporter Bridge is the highest transporter bridge in the world (apparently!) and we just love travelling across it - it is my toddler's idea of a Grand Day Out.

Then the local hospice had the idea of getting people to abseil off it.  Now, why throw yourself off a perfectly good bridge, I hear you ask?  Well, I blame Ellie.  She said it was a Good Thing to go for stuff, to 'live life out loud' and to sign up and say yes when the world offers opportunities.

So I'm signed up. I'm committed (I should be!) and I now need to raise sponsorship to help St David's Foundation provide loving respite and end of life care for the local community.  So, if I'm going to throw myself off this bridge, I'd like YOU to donate a little of your hard earned cash. They are asking for £75, but I'd like to raise at least £100 because a lot of hard work goes into what they do.

(edited because everyone is so supportive of my insanity - I am now aiming for £150!)

Thanks.
