In September 2024, I am taking on a Mighty Hike marathon distance along the stunning Dorset Coast to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this.

I know far too many people that have had/have cancer, been affected by cancer and sadly lost their lives to cancer. By raising my minimum amount, I could pay for a support worker for 2 days to help a family affected by cancer. This support is invaluable to these families. 

For myself this is a challenge. I have signed up on the 8th birthday of my new hip. I am already training in February and will step this up throughout the year so I can complete this challenge. As you can imagine the route near and through Swanage will be very hilly so this is extra challenging for me. But not as challenging as dealing with cancer so it's well worth me completing.
