Many of you know that I am passionate about supporting CRUK. For them this year has been devastating in the loss of so many fundraising activities. They have lost nearly 44 million pounds money that could have gone to research.Meanwhile they have supported the ongoing efforts to control the Covid pandemic through their scientists and  healthcare professionals.

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, because of my early diagnosis and surgery I survived , my mum who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2011 was not so fortunate and her loss was devastating. Since then I have worked to support CRUK in any way I can by sharing my story and supporting fundraising events.

During lockdown I discovered a lump on my foot. I was quickly taken through a series of tests and scans , it was a tumour but it was also benign. I am having it removed in a weeks time. My relief was incredible but reminded me again of the importance of going to your GP as soon as you can and importance of the work that CRUK does.

So ... I am going to dance to help beat cancer. I am offering a dance class - warm up , salsa, jive, Charleston rolled into a fun 30 minute session. If you want to join me then its just a suggested donation of £5 on to here and lots of fun for everyone!!
