Lands End to John O'Groats · 11 August 2014

Vasculitis UK provides support, advice and information to those suffering from vasculitis and their families. VUK also sponsors research into the causes and treatment of vasculitis and works to raise general awareness of ALL types of vasculitis. VUK is run by volunteers who all have vasculitis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So I made a crazy decision to cycle the country in aid of a charity close to my heart. Not sure why I thought 1000 miles would be a good idea but there we go...I do like a challenge.

I am dragging my two oldest friends along with me which may be quite an emotional rollercoaster along with my amazing brother himself, my dad and Becky Ross.

Vasculitis UK is a charity close to my heart, due to my brother being diagnosed with Polyarteritis Nodosa almost a year ago. Put simply it is a disease that causes your own immune system to attack your own body. It is arguably one of the worst diseases to have as there are no answers. The research is so limited that doctors are learning whilst treating people with it and that's what I want to change.

For this reason we are doing Lands End to John O'Groats without support. This is so all the money we raise goes to the charity and nothing else. This means a lot of organisation ourselves and a lot of hard work to get this trip off the grounds.

So please dig deep guys!
