In 1981 my grandfather sadly lost his battle with Prostate Cancer - his dad having succumbed to the same disease 14 years earlier. Thankfully, detection and treatment have come a long way since then, but with Prostate Cancer the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the UK, there's still lots to do.

Prostate Cancer UK are investing millions to find better treatments and better tests that can spot fast-growing cancers early, and could be used in a screening programme to save thousands of lives.

On the 7th September 2024 I will be embarking on a 9 day, 980 mile ride from the tip of Cornwall to the furthest point in Scotland. Averaging over 100 miles a day, the route takes in some of the most challenging roads in the UK .
