Story

There are six Partners at Global Reach taking on a challenge that we hope will raise £10,000 for a very worthy cause.

We are Stewart Blake, Mark Smith-Halvorsen, Richard Chunn, Jon Marriott, Melvin Fraser and David Thomas ready to put our cycling abilities to the test, when we do the to bike ride on 8 May 2010.

The 3 day cycle will see us covering 200 miles.  All the money raised will go to the Help for Heroes charity.  The charity supports wounded soldiers returning from duty in and .  Jon Marriott is keen to support this charity, “At this time, it’s so important that we support our forces, especially as they face living with horrific injuries sustained while serving.  We really want to raise the cash to help to support them and their families.  We know that the money will go towards trying to improve their quality of life with sometimes debilitating and life-changing conditions .  In many cases, these soldiers won’t be able to serve again or even work again”

We know it’s not going to be an easy job and are already looking forward to arriving in .  David Thomas says, “Once we complete the ride, we’ll be looking forward to some sort of relaxation to soothe the aches and pains and of course excellent Parisian food and drink!”

It’s the first time that the Partners have collectively worked together on a fundraising activity and something tells us that it will be the start of many!

Wish us good luck and we ask you to donate generously...
