Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Cambridge half in memory of my friend Tommy Dann. A wonderful man who touched the lives of so many people with his kindness and warmth. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father of 3 talented boys. He died on 18th February 2021 at the age of 40.
This write up in the Cricketer Cup sums him up exactly: https://www.thecricketercup.com/news-2020/thomas-tommy-dann
In doing so I will be trying to raise money for the Charlie Waller trust. The trust educates young people, and those with responsibility for them - parents, educators, employers, GPs and Practice Nurses - about their mental health and well-being. Find out more about their programmes at www.charliewaller.org
Mental illness, stress, anxiety and depression affects everyone. Hopefully in supporting charities like the Charlie Waller trust and raising awareness about mental health, we can avoid other families and communities being devastated by the impact of it.
Even if you don't donate, please do help by reaching out to as many people as possible by sharing this link and above all checking in on friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.
Thank you so much,
Glynn
