Thank you all so much for your support! Well I exceeded the 1000 likes we set out for so looks like I’m jumping out of a plane on the 7^th March.

After much research I have chosen a cause close to my heart. Last year my family fell victim to a devastating event when my 17 year old nephew was murdered, becoming one of the many young people taken far too early from the effects of knife crime.

If we can prevent any more family’s having to suffer the trauma of losing a loved one in this brutal way, as my family did we must support the good work being done to tackle the issue.

We must find a way to stop the mindless violence, support communities and keeping children safe, so I have decided to back the Godwin Lawson Foundation.

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Yvonne Lawson who set up the charity after the tragedy that took her son Godwin Lawson’s life 10 years ago in Stamford Hill. I cannot commend the work she is doing enough.
