Paul Connor is raising money for Parkinson’s UK

Golfing Round Scotland · 6 July 2022

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For a number of years now I've been trying to play as many Golf Courses in Scotland as possible with the aim to play all of them. There are around 600 courses in Scotland spread far and wide on the mainland and scattered over Scotland's many remote islands, so this will take lots of time and effort. As the 2024 season comes to an end I have managed to play just over 500 courses

The reason I chose to fundraise for Parkinson's UK was because my Dad was diagnosed with the disease a number of years ago and I wanted to do my bit to help find a cure. He sadly passed away in early 2024 and after seeing the effects Parkinson's has on a someone I'm going to keep raising money for the foreseeable future and hopefully we can find a cure to stop others suffering with this horrible disease.

Any donations, however small will be very much appreciated.

Paul
