Gordon's Iron Run

Iron Run · 6 August 2016
Friends of mine have persuaded me to take part in the Iron Run and if it makes any difference to people donating I am insulin dependent diabetic and was diagnosed with micro vascular angina a few years ago so if I don't have a hypo attack then I may die of a heart attack. My wife is worried to death and doesn't want me to do it because she doesn't think I'm fit enough but what's the point in living if you cant take a few risks in life? Anyway please don't feel pressured to donate as I know how poor my friends are or will be now we will be leaving the EU, just note that I'm doing it for the fun of it. However if you can afford a quid or two please donate it. I was the main witness to a head on collision involving a mobile phone a while back and the biggest thing that hit me afterwards was the support the victim's parents, siblings, wife and two young children would've needed. The guy that was on the phone and caused it was prosecuted. Still haunts me today and I'm sure it does him. Many thanks.
