Story
I will be cycling 990 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats over a two week period on the 6th May 2017 which incidentally would have been Val's birthday had she lived.
Our good friend Val Foreman died on the 14th October 2016 at the age of only 58, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Dementia called Pick's disease. This lovely lady suffered for seven years with this terrible disease and should have had at least another 25-30 years more of life if a cure could had been available.
My Mum Jessie Bullass who was 90 years old, sadly passed away on the 10th April 2017. Although she has had a good long life it is terrible to see how this disease took away her dignity and how distressed and confused she was. The effect on your nearest and dearest is one of the hardest things I have had to witness and would not wish this on anyone.
So please support me in my attempt to raise funds for Dementia research and hope that a cure can be found sooner rather than later to prevent all our families, friend's and loved ones suffering from this most terrible disease.
