Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 1991 my son Oliver was delivered at 32 weeks weighing 2lb 12oz due to complications from pre-eclampsia, luckily he thrived and is a very healthy young man who plays rugby competitively.  In 1995 I became very unwell early on in my second pregnancy with pre-eclampsia , my son Samuel was delivered at 29 weeks weighing 2lb 4oz,  he fought very hard to survive but sadly passed away eleven days later.  I had great invaluable support from Action on Pre-Eclampsia and ten years later gave birth to my  lovely daughter Lola, weighing 8lbs 4oz. Samuel's short life influenced very much who I am today, and I want to acknowledge that and how life changing the effects of Pre-Eclampsia can be. Running a marathon is way out of my comfort Zone but I'd love to raise some funds to enable this amazing charity to continue supporting all those affected and continue funding research into this devastating condition. ANY support you can give is hugely appreciated.
