Fundraising for St John's Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes

As retired gentlemen of a certain age we thought it was a good time for a challenge and to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. What better way to do this than raising much needed funds for our local St. John's Hospice.
We have signed up to do the London to Paris Cycle Ride in September 2023. We will be covering around 390 miles over 4 days, which will be physically and mentally challenging but at the same time be rewarding and exhilarating.
We want to raise as much money as possible to help them to continue to offer this invaluable service to our community.
It costs approximately £10,000 per day to run the services that the Hospice provides (13 bed in-patient unit and approximately 180 patients in the local community) and sadly only 24% of this is government funded!
We are both individually paying for the full cost of our trip (approximately £1,000 each) therefore ALL the money we raise will go directly to St. John’s Hospice.
We're running some fundraising events over the coming months and will update this page so you can keep up with our activities, our training and our fundraising progress.
