We are two language students on our Year Abroad in Shanghai, China. As Christmas isn't such a well recognised holiday here, we've decided to do something beneficial with our time.

On 24th December we will be travelling to the Great Wall of China. We aim to tackle Gubeikou, a particularly challenging segment as it hasn't been restored and is still in it's original state.

We will brave Christmas Eve at the wall, enduring temperatures below 0°C, before embarking on a longer trek on Christmas Day.

Christmas is a time for giving, and we want to raise awareness for a cause which is close to both of our hearts. We will donate all proceeds to Mind - The Mental Health Charity, which offers support for those who suffer with various forms of mental health issues. 

Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

No one should face Mental Health problems alone, Mind are here to prevent that.
