At Northern Ireland Hospice, we care for more than 4,000 babies, children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, both in Hospice and in the community. We look after every patient's nursing, medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs with support for their family continuing into bereavement.

Story

A year ago my gran was brought into the Somerton Road NI Hospice and received specialist palliative care for the last remaining weeks of her life. She sadly passed away on the 2nd May 2019.

Amid the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, @NIHospice has launched an Emergency Appeal and asks supporters to 'give what you can' to ensure the survival of their service.

Due to the current lock down, and the restrictions on fundraising, I have decided the best and quickest way to raise much needed funds is to shave my head.  For those of you who know me will know this decision was not taken lightly!!

Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to 4,000 infants, children and adults each year across Northern Ireland.
