Greystar excited to annouce our support for
Firefighters To The Rescue
As a company, Greystar is bringing awareness and action to the fight against cancer for the week of March 22 through March 26, 2021.
Recently, WPTV reporter Jay Cashmere shared the story of Captain Brian Wolnewitz of the Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January 2020. He is a 43-year-old non-smoker, husband, and father of four.
He was told he would not live through Christmas. Despite the pandemic, he started treatments as soon as the pandemic began. Everyone around him took notice of something right away they couldn't believe.

"He's at work every day," Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue Chief Keith Bryer said. "And he's training with these guys -- guys that are half his age --, and he's still taking that leadership and mentorship position, and he doesn't dwell on it."
Wolnewitz's goals are to give away his daughters at their wedding and watching his son grow up and play sports.
Greystar wants to help Wolnewitz achieve those goals. We are hosting this fundraiser to collect donations to help pay for Wolnewitz's various expenses like airfare, hotel rooms, and meals for his family during treatment.
Greystar has partnered with Firefighters to the Rescue and which accept donations here. Thank you for your help in supporting this important community effort.
