Laura and I are taking part in the Marsden March on the 17 March 2013, and our goal is to raise at least £5,000 (US$ 8,000) for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity (RMCC), who operate the Oak Centre for Children and Young People, which is a world-class cancer centre for children and young people in the UK.  Please take a minute to have a look at this short video which shows all the great work they do:

The Oak Centre is one of the largest comprehensive children and young people’s cancer centres in Europe.  Over 5,000 day patients and 600 inpatients will receive treatment there this year.

The Marsden March is a 14-mile sponsored walk between The Royal Marsden’s hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton. 3,700 people took part last time and raised an amazing £1.2 million.
