In June 2016, GroupM announced a new partnership with Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft charity, to raise awareness of the issues faced by children living with untreated clefts in the developing world.

GroupM will leverage its unparalleled access to media partners in markets worldwide to help Smile Train engage potential supporters who can aid the charity’s efforts to provide cleft repair surgeries and comprehensive cleft care to children in need.  In the first year, GroupM will help Smile Train to engage audiences in India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Philippines, U.K. and U.S. In fact, a number of you will be working on this campaign across the GroupM UK agencies right now.

Smile Train will celebrate World Smile Day on Friday 7 October 2016 and
I’m pleased to announce that we will host a fundraising breakfast at GroupM office at Red Lion Square. We will supply refreshments and food – in exchange for a volunatary donation from attendees – and Smile Train will also host a presentation so everyone can find out more about this amazing charity.

We’d appreciate your support in attending our breakfast – or by hosting
a similar one at your own office – it’s a great charity and we’re keen for everyone in the UK across the group to understand more about their great work.
