Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Now in its tenth year, I will be taking part in the Big Battlefield Bike Ride in 2018 to support wounded Servicemen and women. I will be as Cycling for 5 days and covering over 300 miles through historical battlefields and we will commemorate 100 years since the end of the the Great War.
Starting in Compiegne, the site of the Armistice we will Cycle through the battlefields of the Somme and then Head to Belgium to the site where the first and last shots were fired, Mons.
Monday 11 June – Led by the H4H team of beneficiaries, set off from Glade of the Armistice towards Saint-Quentin.
Tuesday 12 June – Ride north through the battlefields of the Somme, ending in Amiens.
Wednesday 13 June – Continue our ride north, cycling to Arras through the heartland of the Somme and Thiepval.
Thursday 14 June – Tackle a few hills as we cycle Vimy Ridge and Neuve Chappelle to Lille.
Friday 15 June – Cross the border and advance to victory towards Mons with a ceremony at Saint-Symphorien Military Cemetery.
