I am cycling 107 miles to raise money for Genesis Research Trust to help them continue with their amazing and vital research. 

Genesis carry out some amazing work and look into many conditions affecting women, including premature birth, stem cell, miscarriage, IVF and other problems.

Two of their current projects are something that personally affect me and something I feel passionately about raising funds for; Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Recurrent miscarriage. 

There is no cure for PCOS and it greatly affects my life in many ways, the main thing currently being Infertility. Having undergone several cycles of IVF and two devastating twin miscarriages I am hoping to raise some awareness and lift the stigma on such a taboo subject. Little funding goes into these areas and it is needed to help continue the research into things that can improve the symptoms and quality of life for many women. 

My story is not over; I go forward with hope and positivity that one day they will find something to alleviate if not cure some of my symptoms and with an amazing team of consultants, embryologists and acupuncturist that will hopefully help me with the dream of becoming a mummy! 

This is my furthest ever ride but knowing I am helping to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause will get me across the finish line albeit with a sore bum!!!! 

It's time to do something and speak up! Lets keep the research going so more areas and conditions can be looked into further....Every penny counts so please donate as little or much as you can!!
