Denim for Dementia · 17 May 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for getting involved in our 'Denim for Dementia' which fundraiser which will have you jumping in your jeans for a good cause!

On Friday 21st May during 'Dementia Action Week' we are hoping to get as many people in our community wearing denim to raise awareness of dementia. It's up to you if you choose to wear jeans or to go head to toe in denim but pull on that denim and help make a difference.

The past year people with a dementia have been severley affected by the covid pandemic and their carers/family members have lost valuable support. We are aiming to make Haywards Heath a dementia friendly community where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted and able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.. Thank you for your support and don't forget to share your photos with us via our Twitter and Facebook pages.
