Hughes Hall fundraising for Cambridge City Foodbank · 8 March 2017

We exists to help local people in crisis. Working with the Trussell Trust and 120 local support agencies, we provide emergency food and gas/electricity top ups for those who cannot afford to eat or heat their homes. With 200 volunteerswe rely on the generosity of the public.

Story

On 8th March we will be putting on a screening of 'I, Daniel Blake', which is free to attend at Hughes Hall. The film, which is a stark reminder of the struggles which people face every day to get by, also shows what a lifeline organisations like Foodbanks can be in providing emergency food to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet. While there will be no charge to attend the screening, we would love it if you would make a voluntary donation to support the Foodbank.
