In memory of Frazer Jennings

Great North Run 2015 · 13 September 2015 ·
Frazer was diagnosed in 2012 with Ewing's Sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) during his final year at Vet School. Undeterred, Frazer was determined to sit his finals and of course passed his exams.
During the next 3 years of his life, Frazer had treatment at the Addenbrooke's Teenage Cancer Trust Unit in Cambridge. He would try to visit his fellow friends and colleagues at the Vet School during treatment appointments and always updated us in his positive manor as to how the treatment was going.
He remained his usual positive, up beat self throughout the 3 years, more interested in how others were doing rather than worrying about what he was going through.
Frazer was and always will be an inspiration to us all, for his attitude, determination and passion for life. He was a true gentleman.
Frazer felt very supported and safe with the Teenage cancer Trust.
Very sadly in March 2015, Frazer died, leaving us with a broken heart but his voice telling us we must live life to the fullest, just as he did.
I feel blessed to have been part of his very short life and am grateful to have been able to meet and get to know his amazing family.
You will forever be in our hearts Frazer. RIP XXXX
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity dedicated to providing expert care and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer’. They treat them as young people first, cancer patients second and everything they do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival. Teenage Cancer Trust rely on donations to fund their vital work. Help transform the lives of young people with cancer by donating towards my Great North Run challenge.
