Story

Hello everyone, my name is Harry Taylor. On the 26th of February 2014, my good friend Jack Howlett and I are going to be shaving our hair off in remembrance of Liam Fairhurst. We have already started the donation stage of bringing sponsorship forms around our school, which Liam also studied at (Soham Village College) and are at around £300 so far!

We decided on doing this while walking to school one day. Jack told me that he thought it would be great to fundraise for The Liam Fairhurst Foundation after hearing lots about it, so… we are! We decided on that same day that shaving off our hair would be the best way to do it, especially as we aren't really the sporty challenge types!

We're super excited to be helping young people affected by cancer, disabilities and illnesses and be able to help other young people who find themselves in situations no person should be in, let alone someone so young.

Although neither of us knew him personally, we have heard so much about how incredible he was - and that's why we have chosen to support LFF

About the charity

We help disadvantaged young people in the UK especially those affected by Cancer, illness and Disabilities, including their siblings. From funding and finding last wishes to paying for nurses and trips away to providing grants to take away some pressure families face while their child is in hospital.
