Everest Challenge · 4 June 2016

The Children's Cancer Unit Charity supports the work of the medical team and staff at the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. We are a registered charity and depend on donations and fundraising by the general public.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 4th June i will attempt to climb the height of Everest on a bicycle. This involved climbing 29030 feet of vertical ascent over a distance of 130 miles. I have chosen a road with a climb of 0.3 miles which has to be ridden up and down 170 times to gain the necessary height to complete the challenge.

It has only been completed twice in Northern Ireland before and i hope to complete it in 15 hours or so. Once i start the clock doesn't stop until the challenge is finished.
