Story

Card payment specialists, Handepay celebrated a decade in business in 2016 and pledged to donate £10,000 to the Steve Prescott Foundation within twelve months. Handepay managed to smash that target in just seven months, showing their dedication and commitment to raising funds for this great charity!

The donation went a long way to helping the local community and to the SPF reaching their million pound mark in donations to charitable causes, including Try assist who support rugby players seriously affected by injury or illness and The Christie hospital in Manchester.

Staff at Handepay are still continuing to raise funds throughout 2020 by organising and taking part in various events and activities to continue to support the Steve Prescott Foundation, including the St Helens 10k Run in March and The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in September.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
