Beau was a kind, considerate, resilient and sassy 6-year-old from Leeds. She always found ways to live her best life. She passed away when she was just 6 years old.

Story

For Beau, a little girl with a big fight. My neighbour and my Nephew’s class mate. 💛

At the age of 4 in December 2020 Beau was diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that at the point of diagnosis has only a 50% chance of long-term survivorship.

With the help of the local community, Beau’s family are fundraising so that she can access the Bivalent Vaccine clinical trial at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York once she has completed her frontline treatment. This treatment, which aims to keep the cancer from returning, is potentially life saving.

I will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in April and aim to do this in under 12 hours. Please support me on this journey as I do my small bit for this huge campaign so that little Beau can access the treatment that she deserves. I will be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. 🙏
