I'm taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon to raise money for Marie Curie. 

It's a charity that does incredible work for those living with a terminal illness, and those supporting them. One of the many ways in which they help is to provide overnight support for those caring for their loved ones at home at the end of their lives. We experienced this first hand with both of my parents - having someone come in overnight made such a difference to us at two impossible times. The comfort of having someone there overnight with us, so we could get some rest, can't be described. But not only did they provide practical care and support, the nurses that came in took the time to listen to our stories, and even sit and go through photo albums with us - that personal touch made such a difference. 

£180 covers a 9 hour overnight shift in a patient's home. I've set a target of £540 which will cover 3 night's care - if we can reach this, it would be incredible.
