Blisters, butt sores and nipple chafe... The things you do for friends and a fantastic cause!! Training is going well but gee whiz I’m going to need an awful lot of help and support, please. Hopefully this is where you can come in, every donation is hugely appreciated and will immediately assist in helping those who struggle with communication and life skills.

Come April I will be running the BRIGHTON MARATHON for SQUARE PEGS. I’ve been involved in Square Pegs since the company began over 10 years ago and now it has official charity status, I can’t wait to help fundraise for such a great cause. This awesome drama group allows children and young adults with learning disabilities to explore their creativity and social development in a safe and friendly environment.

We provide opportunities for vulnerable, socially isolated people with learning disabilities and autism to be involved in high quality Arts based groups, projects and performances. This allows people to be engaged in purposeful activity where they can build friendships and feel a real sense of belonging. We use drama, music and creative based methods to build confidence and self-esteem, develop social communication skills and other transferable skills so that everyone can achieve and maintain positive wellbeing and be their best self.
