Story

Thank you for taking a look at our JustGiving page.

Yes…We think we have gone mad….we are taking on the Great North Run, Half Marathon on 15th September 2013 and running for the charity: The Stroke Association....

The Stroke Association is a charity that does amazing work for millions of people across the UK and relies entirely on fundraising and donations.

As many of you know, the Stroke Association is a charity that is close to Hannah and her family, and has played a key role in Hannah's dad's rehabilitation following his stroke.  The aim of our fundraising is to raise more awareness of stroke and to support the Stroke Association continue the irreplaceable work they do: providing practical and emotional support to stroke patients, their families and carers.

Stroke considerably changes lives ….every year 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke, that’s approximately 1 person every 5 minutes. It is valuable to know how to prevent stroke, respond to a person who is having one and also understand the difficulties that stroke patients and their families face during their day to day lives.

So guys…we’re asking you to dig deep and support us and the Stroke Association continue their work… please donate any pennies you have towards a fantastic cause!

 Thank you….
