On August 5th I will be taking part in a Total Warrior Challenge along with the 'M20 Warrior's' to raise money for the Christie Hospital. I will be doing so in memory of Hannah Nicole Lyson. Hannah sadly passed away in January of this year after a battle with Bowel Cancer. Hannah was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 19 years old. Since her diagnosis Hannah single handedly raised tens of thousands of pounds for multiple charities, this was all whilst keeping a blog titled 'Hannahs Bowel Cancer Journey'. The blog was read by people all over the world who were touched by her story and by her courage and also by her smile which never seemed to dwindle even when faced with the unimaginable. This is the first time I have ever ever done anything like this and I don't even go to the gym but if Hannah can do all she did then none of us have any excuse. There is a group of us taking part in this challenge as we all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Our aim is to raise over £5000 for the Christie Hospital which is renowned for the amazing care they give to their patients and also the amazing care they gave to Hannah in the last few weeks of her life. No matter how big or small the donation it all goes towards making a big big difference in so many peoples lives. So thank you so much and wish me luck!
