As a group of nurses, carers and partner- myself, Sophie, Laura, Sarah, Amy and James have decided to run the Bournemouth Half Marathon on October 8th to raise money for the amazing charity that we are privileged to work for, Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.

Julia’s House is a children’s hospice in both Dorset and Wiltshire where we provide specialist care to children and their families of whom have life threatening and life limiting conditions. As a large team of nurses, carers, family support workers and play therapists we are able to provide an environment for moments of joy, comfort and dignity whilst enhancing the life of seriously ill children.

Supporting the charity with your generosity, even if that is donating £1, will have such a long term positive impact for our families that we care for, by helping them create their ever lasting memories together as a family, and make such a difference in what is an incredibly difficult journey.
